Having
ridden the same model owned by a friend, I found the handling ok,
but I
haven't done enough miles to give a full opinion. It feels fun, it's
light
and easy to move around. Suspension felt like it needed firmer
springs to
cope with my weight (approx. 15st) or more pre-load. |

On the whole it is good, robust,
seems to be
let down by some cheaper fasteners though. Not too sure about some
of the
electrics, which seem quite exposed in places. |

When I got the
bike home (brought home from dealer on a trailer) I found the rear
wheel
spindle was bent (I was changing it from trail to SM wheels), and
had to be
cut in order to remove it. Awaiting replacement FOC from dealer.

The dealer offered to replace the
spindle, and was very helpful. |

I will do valve clearances and cam
belt myself, probably change oil every 1000
miles, not sure about the intervals for other things yet, but will
perform servicing more regularly than is recommended, just to be on
the safe side. |

I've fitted an Acerbis supermotard
front mudguard. Looks great! Considering cutting the airbox if it's
proved to be worthwhile. Possibly going to fit a K&N. May consider a
different camshaft at some
stage. |

yet as a result! |

:- Not as such. Can't vouch for
reliability, although the Rotax would seem to have
a good reputation. |

Look for low genuine
mileage, check for off-road use, check overall condition,
service history, usual stuff like brake pads, tyres, bearings etc. |

sure the dealer is a supportive fan of CCM, you will need him to be
on side.
Don not expect this to be a UJM, it needs care, be aware of the
maintainance
involved.
